Charity Coastal Walk 21st-22nd June &  Super Fun Saturday 29th June

This Charity event has been organised to raise much needed funds for a variety of charities including; Motor Neurone Disease, Cilgerran Children’s Ward At Glangwili Hospital, Prostate Cancer UK, Grand Appeal Children’s Hospital, Baby Zion, Born on the Edge and Ammanford Junior Sports Clubs Fund. We have been running this event for the last few years and have had an outstanding amount of support. Last year we raised a whopping £13,050.00.

 The challenge, if you wish to accept it, is broken down into two categories;

Day one 21st June 2019:

Tenby to Pendine and back 26 Miles (13 mile walkers to join at Pendine and walk back

Day Two 22nd June 2019:

Tenby to Freshwater East and back 26 miles ( 13 mile walkers to join in Freshwater for a return walk back to Tenby)

All members who wish to participate, in signing up to the event, have agreed to raise a minimum of £100.00 per adult or £50.00 per child.

Then on the 29th June 2019 Ammanford Cricket club will once again be hosting Super Fun Saturday. This is great fun for all the family, not one to be missed.

There will be a variety of activities going on, on the day. including; Live Music by Andy & Gos, Mini Funfair, Cricket Game and much much more.

To add even more to the Super Fun Saturday, we will now also be running the Annual Charity Cycle.

There will be two route options;

Route 1: Ammanford Cricket Club to Cwmtwrch and back again

(25 miles)

Route 2: Ammanford Cricket Club to Crai Reservoir and back again (60 miles)

Cycle helmets are mandatory for this event and teenagers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult, the event is not recommended for children under the age of 11. Please note all participants will take part at their own risk and the organisers hold no responsibility for Injury or damage to property.

All riders must register at Ammanford Cricket Club at 8.15am. All participants MUST start and finish the cycle ride at Ammanford Cricket Club.

Following the event there will be a Hog roast, Family day and evening entertainment to further the fundraising efforts at the cricket ground which also be hosting a home fixture of

Ammanford v Mumbles.

All the money raised on the day will go towards the Charities listed above.
